Appointed to the role of Shariah advisor in January 2017, Mr Colan is a Director at the Australian Centre for Islamic Finance (AusCif) and also an advisor to a number of institutions that provide Islamic finance, as well as being a member of a working group at the global Islamic finance standards body, AAOIFI.
