Mr Baarini is the founder and Managing Director of Baarini & Associates, a tax consulting and accounting practice. A highly experienced finance professional who has also served in important leadership capacities in the Muslim community, he current sits on the Audit and Remuneration Committees, and has been an independent director since November 2017.
Mr Baarini practices as a professional accountant and Tax Consultant and has done so for the last 18 years. He has served as a Lecturer at Central Queensland University and is highly experienced with banking, taxation, superannuation and financial law and regulation in Australia. He holds memberships of the Institute of Financial Accountants, Institute of Public Accountants, Association of Taxation and Management Accountants and the Australian Institute of Management.Â
He is an Executive Board Member of Islamic Council of Victoria, Australia Lebanon Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Mr Baarini has been an independent director of MCCAAM since November 2017.
